Bookmaking 

I value books, and I love making books! I find sewing therapeutic, but it feels even more satisfying when I add it to all the steps involved in hand binding a book. I first learned how to bind my own books from book artist, Peter Madden, while getting my BFA from the at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts  in Boston, Massachusetts, and then later, from a class with Kent Manske at Foothill Community College, in Palo Alto, California. These days, most of the books I make are for gifts.
